Dead Beat Project and Gwam Art in French Street Festival this Christmas.
Olivier has been busy leading up to Christmas taking part in street performances in France between a ‘parade’ and a ‘fire show’ in front of the town hall here is a link on YouTube where you can get an idea of what went on (the instrumental music playing isn’t Olivier: ed).
Olivier says: “I was participating at the street event but as a percussionist with the husband of one of the other fire girl on Djembes, Tibetan Singing Bowl, tibetan bells – a very eerie atmosphere.
The Christmas Charity gig was for underprivileged children. We had various happenings during the event, one of them in particular being an act which my girlfriend put together. A tale about Freya, the 3 kings in the constellation of Orion, Yule and the Sun. I tested new instrumental music on the audience…. it worked. I have to work some more on this before I send it to AD Music but I am very happy with it”.
For those of you who would like to see more of the extraordinary art from Olivier’s girlfriend (who also did the artwork for R’Evolution) please visit her website at Gwam’Art.
The stunning RE’volution by Olivier’s Dead Beat Project will be released on CD, MP3 and Flac on 11th January 2011 and is available to pre-order on the ad music online store website. Sound bites and further information about the album is also available.
